How to Hand Over Your Shipment to the Carrier – Help Center

This article explains how to hand over your parcel to the carrier after creating your shipment and printing the label.

Once you've handed over your parcel:

Your shipment is with the carrier and ready for delivery
You can track your shipment in real time in Swotzy

Before You Start

Make sure that:

You have created your shipment in Swotzy
You have printed the shipping label and attached it to your parcel

Available Handover Methods

Swotzy supports three handover methods:

Courier pickup — schedule a free pickup directly through Swotzy
Parcel locker — drop off your parcel at a locker at any time
Post office or service point — drop off your parcel in person during business hours

Method 1 — Schedule a Courier Pickup

The courier collects your parcel from your shipping address at a time you choose. This method is available free of charge.

Option A — From Manage Pickups

Go to Manage Pickups
In the Available section, select the shipment or shipments you want to schedule a pickup for
Click Schedule a Pickup
Select your preferred date and time window
Enter the pickup address and contact details
Add a comment if needed — use this to leave any instructions for the courier
Click Schedule to confirm your pickup request

Shipments in the Available section are grouped by carrier. You can schedule a single pickup for multiple parcels from the same carrier at once.

Option B — From Shipment Overview

Go to Shipment Overview
Select the shipment you want to schedule a pickup for
Click Schedule a Pickup

Method 2 — Drop Off at a Parcel Locker

Parcel lockers are available 24/7. Drop off your parcel at any time that suits you.

Go to the parcel locker with your labelled parcel
Scan the shipping label or enter the tracking number of your shipment
Place the parcel in the open compartment

Method 3 — Drop Off at a Post Office or Service Point

Visit a post office or carrier service point during business hours and hand your parcel to a staff member.

Find the nearest drop-off location on the carrier's website
Bring your labelled parcel during business hours
Hand the parcel to a staff member

Check opening hours before visiting, particularly on weekends and public holidays.
