This integration feature is designed for deliveries to the nearest parcel locker to the address specified by the customer at the time of purchase. The automation ensures that on the Swotzy platform, the nearest parcel locker (within a 5km radius) is automatically selected.

To set up this automation, it's necessary to integrate the Swotzy platform with the Shopify account of the online store.

Defining delivery methods in the Shopify admin panel
If your online store's checkout section currently does not offer the option for delivery to the nearest parcel locker, you can configure it by following these steps:
- Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
- Go to the Settings section, which you will find in the bottom left corner of the page.
- In the Settings section, on the left side, you will find the Shipping and delivery section.
- To edit delivery zones and shipping methods, click on the subsection General Shipping rates.
To configure shipping delivery methods, select the previously created shipping zone, such as Latvia. On the right-hand side, click on the Edit rate option.
- Add or configure existing shipping delivery methods to parcel lockers by selecting a specific brand of parcel locker and entering the desired delivery price, for example, as shown in the image above - Omniva parcel locker, with an additional note stating "Nearest to the specified address."
- Once the necessary adjustments are made, save them by clicking the Done button located in the bottom right corner of the page.

If you want to offer more delivery options, consider adding the Nearest parcel locker to address option in your online store's checkout section.
Setting up automation in the Swotzy platform
Once new shipping methods are configured in Shopify, they need to be added to the Swotzy platform so that when a new purchase is made and one of the delivery options to the nearest parcel locker is selected, the Swotzy platform automatically finds the nearest parcel locker locations to the address provided by the buyer.
To do this:
- Go to app.swotzy.com and log in to your account.
- On the left-hand menu bar, click on the Integrations section and then click on the ⚙️ icon next to your integrated store.
- Clicking on this icon will open the integration settings view.
- To set up automation, go to the Settings section and then navigate to Shipping Methods.
Add and define the desired shipping methods' functionalities
To add the shipping delivery options defined in your online store to one of the nearest parcel lockers, follow these steps:
- Click on the yellow button labeled + New Action.
- Copy the specific shipment method name from your website's checkout section and paste it into the Method name field in the platform settings.
- If you want only the closest parcel lockers to be selected for this specific shipping method, choose Matching type - Exact.
- In the Action type field, select the option Find Closest parcelshop.
- Choose the specific courier service provider whose nearest parcel lockers need to be automatically selected.
- Press the Add button to save the automation.
Example of automation
After setting up automation, when a buyer selects one of the delivery methods to the nearest parcel locker, the purchase will be imported into the Shipments section of the Swotzy platform within 15 minutes.
Generate a shipping label for the imported purchase
To add missing information and verify if the shipment has been successfully assigned to the nearest parcel locker, click on the specific shipment. In the shipment summary window, select the Edit option located in the top right corner.
When you open the full shipment processing view, in the Ship to subsection, the Parcel Shop field will automatically load the nearest parcel locker to the address provided by the buyer. To generate a shipping label, click on the yellow button labeled Update located in the bottom right corner.
After pressing the Update button, the shipment status will be changed to Ready, indicating that you can now print the shipping label and hand the shipment over to the courier.
