How to add real-time parcel locker selection to your Shopify checkout

Result after setup

Once enabled:

• The 5 nearest parcel lockers automatically appear immediately after the customer enters their delivery address at checkout

• Customers select their exact pickup location

• The selected locker is automatically assigned to the shipment in Swotzy

• No manual locker selection is needed after order creation

Before You Start

Make sure the following requirements are met:

• Third-party carrier-calculated shipping is enabled in your Shopify store
• Your Shopify plan supports carrier-calculated shipping:

• Shopify Plus

• Shopify Advanced

• Shopify Grow (Yearly billing)

• Shopify Grow (Monthly billing with additional carrier-calculated shipping enabled via Shopify Support)

If you’re unsure whether this is enabled, contact Shopify Support.

Step 1: Connect or update your Shopify integration

If you are a new Swotzy user:

First, connect your Shopify store to Swotzy.

If your store is already connected:

1. Go to Swotzy → Integrations → Stores

2. Click Manage next to your connected store

3. Under Parcelshop Mapping, click the yellow Update button

4. You will be redirected to Shopify

5. Click Update to approve Swotzy’s data access

This ensures real-time parcel locker data can be displayed in checkout.

Step 2 — Configure Parcel Locker Mapping

To configure real-time parcel locker selection:

1. In Swotzy, go to Integrations in the left-hand menu

2. Click Stores

3. Click Manage next to your connected Shopify store

4. Scroll to the Parcelshop Mapping section

5. Click + New Mapping

From there:

6. Select the carriers you want to offer for each market

7. Set the shipping price that will appear at checkout

Your mapping is saved automatically.

You can edit or delete mappings at any time using the action icons on the right-hand side of the table.

Result

Real-Time Parcel Locker Selection is now live in your Shopify checkout.

Once a customer enters their delivery address:

• The 5 closest parcel lockers are displayed instantly

• The customer selects their preferred pickup point

• The selected locker is automatically attached to the order

• All shipment data — including the selected pickup point — is automatically imported into your Swotzy dashboard
