This article explains how to mark a Shopify order as Fulfilled and send tracking information to your customer directly from Swotzy.
By using the Fulfill store order button in Swotzy, the order status in Shopify will change to Fulfilled, and tracking details will be added automatically.
What happens when you press “Fulfill store order”
When you click the button in Swotzy:
• The Shopify order status changes to Fulfilled
• The tracking number is added to the order
• A tracking link is sent to the customer
• No manual updates in Shopify are required
Where to find the “Fulfill store order” button
Log in to app.swotzy.com
Go to Shipments
Open the specific shipment
Click Fulfill store order
The button is available for shipments with the following statuses:
• Ready
• Waiting for pickup
• Out for delivery
• Being delivered
What tracking link is sent to Shopify
The tracking link depends on the courier used.
If the courier has direct Shopify integration (for example, FedEx, Latvijas Pasts, DPD):
• Shopify receives the official courier tracking number
• The official courier tracking page link is added
If the courier does not have direct Shopify integration:
• Shopify receives the courier tracking number
• A Swotzy tracking page link is added
Important
• The Shopify order is not marked as Fulfilled automatically
• You must click Fulfill store order to update Shopify
• This feature works only for Shopify stores connected to Swotzy
