How to Schedule a Courier Pickup

This article explains how to schedule a courier pickup for your shipments in Swotzy.

 

Result After Completion

Once scheduled:

  • A courier will collect your shipment from your chosen address on the date you select
  • Your pickup request will appear in Manage Pickups > Active

Before You Start

Make sure that:

  • Your shipment has been created and a label has been generated
  • Your shipment status is Ready

Only shipments with the status Ready are eligible for courier pickup scheduling.

You can schedule a pickup in two ways: from Manage Pickups or from Shipment Overview. Both methods are free of charge.

Option A — Schedule from Manage Pickups

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Manage Pickups
  2. Open the Available section
  3. Select the shipment or shipments you want to schedule a pickup for

Shipments are grouped by carrier. You can schedule a single pickup for multiple shipments from the same carrier at once.

  1. Click Schedule Pickup
  2. Select the address where you want the courier to collect the shipment
  3. Select your preferred pickup date from the calendar
  4. Add a comment for the courier if needed
  5. Click Schedule to confirm

Option B — Schedule from Shipment Overview

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Shipment Overview
  2. Click on the shipment you want to schedule a pickup for
  3. Download the label if you haven't done so
  4. Click Schedule a Pickup
  5. Add a comment for the courier if needed
  6. Click Schedule to confirm

Where to Find Your Scheduled Pickups

Scheduled pickups appear in Manage Pickups > Active.

To cancel a scheduled pickup, go to Manage Pickups > Active and click the cancel icon next to the pickup you want to remove.
