How to manually create a shipment on the Swotzy platform?

In this article we will guide you through how to create your first shipment on Swotzy platform manually.

To initiate the process of a new shipment preparation manually:

• Go to app.swotzy.com and log in to your account.
• Navigate to the platform section labeled Create Shipment (large, yellow button in the top right corner of the page).

The layout of the section

On the left side of the page, you will find fields to fill out for processing a new shipment. On the right side of the page, you will see a summary of the shipment details. As you enter the necessary information about the shipment, courier service offers will appear on the right side of the page as well.

Choose the delivery method for the shipment.

On the Swotzy platform, you have the option to arrange:

• Courier delivery shipments to individuals (selecting the option To Private Person).
• Courier delivery shipments to other businesses (choosing the option To other Business).
• Shipments to parcel lockers (selecting the option To Parcel Locker).
• Pallet shipments (choosing the option Pallets).

Arrange a courier delivery shipment

By choosing either of these two shipment delivery methods (To Private Person or To Other Business), the shipment will be sent via courier delivery or to the nearest pickup point (for economical international shipments).

You can arrange courier delivery shipments on the platform to nearly any location worldwide.

Required Information for Shipment Processing

• Shipper Information (Ship From): Address and contact information of the sender.
• Recipient Information (Ship To): Address and contact information of the package recipient.
• Package Parameters: Package length, height, width, and total weight.
• Product Information: For shipments outside the borders of Latvia, it is necessary to provide information about the contents of the shipment, which customs will inspect - product name, HS code, quantity of products in the shipment, and commercial value of the product.

When choosing the delivery option To Parcel Locker, you can arrange a shipment to the available courier parcel lockers on the platform (in the Baltics).
