Your credit limit is the amount of money available to you in the Swotzy platform to create and ship shipments. This article explains how the credit limit system works and what to keep in mind when creating shipment labels.
How Does the Credit Limit System Work?
When you first join Swotzy, you are assigned a starting credit limit of €50.
The credit limit system is designed to give you a more seamless shipping experience. Rather than paying for each shipment individually before it is sent, your credit limit allows you to ship all of your packages and pay a single consolidated invoice covering all shipments sent during the month.
For more information on monthly invoices, see: What is a Monthly Invoice?
What Counts Towards Your Used Credit Limit?
All shipment labels created in the Swotzy platform count towards your used credit limit. However, you are only charged for shipments that have actually been sent out — labels that are created but not used will not be invoiced.
Important: Deleting a label from the platform does not decrease your used credit limit. Even after deletion, the label remains a valid label that can still be used to ship a shipment.
Editing a Created Label
If you need to update information on a shipment after a label has already been created, please note that edits cannot be applied to an existing label. Each change made to a created label will generate a new label with the updated information, and the original label will remain valid.
To avoid using up your credit limit unnecessarily, make sure all shipment information is correct before creating a label. If you are unsure, save your shipment as a draft until you are ready to proceed.
How to Increase Your Credit Limit
If your available credit limit is not sufficient, you can increase it by requesting and paying a deposit invoice.
