This article explains how to import orders that customers have not paid for yet from your connected store.
By default, Swotzy only imports paid orders. Turn on Import unpaid orders if you ship before payment clears — for example, on cash on delivery or bank transfer orders.
This setting is available for Shopify, Mozello, and WooCommerce stores.
Result
Once you've completed these steps:
- Unpaid orders from your store are imported into Swotzy
- Imported unpaid orders appear in Shipment Overview with the status Action Needed
Before You Start
Make sure that:
- Your store is connected in Integrations > Stores
- Your store is Shopify, Mozello, or WooCommerce
Step 1 — Open your store settings
- Go to Integrations > Stores
- Click Manage on the store you want to configure
Step 2 — Turn on unpaid order import
- In the Import settings section, select Import unpaid orders
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page
Cancelled orders and orders that are never paid keep the status Action Needed in Swotzy. They are not removed automatically.
What Gets Imported
What the setting imports depends on your store platform.
| Store | What gets imported |
| Shopify | Partially paid orders, and orders where payment has started but is not complete — for example, bank transfer or cash on delivery. |
| Mozello | Orders awaiting bank transfer or cash payment. Recent unpaid orders are imported on the next sync. |
| WooCommerce | Orders on hold awaiting bank transfer or cash on delivery. Unpaid orders that already exist in your store are picked up the next time they change. |
Creating Shipments from Unpaid Orders
Unpaid orders arrive with the status Action Needed. Open the order in Shipment Overview, add any missing details, select a carrier, and create the label as you would for any other order.
You do not need to wait for payment to create a label.
