How to Schedule a Courier Pickup for a Different Address

If you want the courier to pick up the shipment from a different address than the one on your shipping label, some carriers allow you to update the Pickup address. On the Swotzy platform, you can easily make this change when scheduling a courier pickup.

There are two ways to set a different Pickup address on Swotzy platform: 

1. Schedule a courier pickup right after creating a new shipment

Schedule a courier pickup right after creating a new shipment, follow these steps:

• In the Shipments section of the platform, select the shipment for which you want to request a courier pickup.
• In the shipment summary, click the yellow Schedule a Pickup button in the lower right corner.

• If you want to manually enter a new Pickup address, make sure not to select an address from your existing address library by selecting Choose from Library - No.

• Enter the new Pickup address where the courier should pick up your package.

⚠️ The Google Maps tool is used to enter addresses, so make sure the automatically filled details are correct (check city and zip code).

• After entering the address, select the day you want to request a courier pickup by clicking the yellow button displaying the date.

• Once all the necessary information is entered, click the yellow 'Schedule' button at the bottom of the page.

2. Request a courier pickup in the Manage Pickups section of the platform

To request a courier pickup at a different address for one or more shipments in the Manage Pickups section, follow these steps:

• Go to the Manage Pickups section in the left menu bar of the platform.

• Click on the courier logo you want to schedule a pickup for (in the Available Pickups section).
• Select one or more shipments for which you want to request a courier pickup.
• Once you've selected the shipments, click the Schedule a Pickup button in the upper right corner of the page.

• If you want to manually enter a new Pickup address, make sure not to select an address from your existing address library by selecting Choose from Library - No.

• Enter the new Pickup address where the courier should pick up your package.

How can I double-check that the courier will arrive at the correct address?

To ensure the courier arrives at the correct address:

• Go to the Manage Pickups section on the platform.
• Click on the Active subsection.
• Check that the correct address is listed in the Pickup Address column.
• If the address is incorrect, cancel the current request and submit a new one with the correct address.

Save all Pickup addresses in your Swotzy Address Library
