Since the Etsy platform does not require buyers to provide their phone number, but most couriers consider this information mandatory, we have created an automation in the platform settings that assigns a default phone number to all imported purchases from Etsy on the Swotzy platform.

To set up this automation, you need to integrate the Swotzy platform with your Etsy account.

Go to the settings section on the Swotzy platform.
Visit app.swotzy.com, log in to your Swotzy account, and navigate to the Integrations section, which you will find in the left menu bar. Click on the ⚙︎ icon of your integrated store, located on the right side.
Clicking on this icon will open the integration settings view, where you can configure the import functions of the integrations you desire.
Entering a default phone number
Enter the default phone number for all Etsy imported purchases by selecting the country code - Select Country, and entering the phone number in the window.

Courier services require a phone number to reduce the risk of shipment returns in cases where initial delivery attempts to the recipient have been unsuccessful.
If your buyer has provided their phone number during the purchase, we always encourage you to add it manually so that the courier can contact the recipient if necessary.
