This article explains how to create a parcel shop shipment in Swotzy and generate a shipping label.
Result After Completion
Once you've completed these steps:
- A shipment label is generated and ready to download
- You can schedule a free courier pickup directly from the summary view or drop off your shipment at a parcel shop.
Before You Start
Make sure that:
- You have an active Swotzy account
- You are logged in at app.swotzy.com
Parcel Shop Compartment Sizes
Before sending your package, make sure it fits your carrier's size and weight limits. For more information, see Dimensions of Carrier Parcel Locker Compartments.
Step 1 — Open the Create Shipment window
- Log in to your Swotzy account
- Click the Create Shipment button in the top right corner of the page
- Select To Parcel Locker as the delivery type
Step 2 — Enter sender details
Your details are filled in automatically under Ship From. Update them if you need to ship from a different address.
Required fields:
- Name and Surname
- Company (if applicable)
- Address 1
- Address 2 — for apartment or suite numbers (if applicable)
- Country
- State / Province (if applicable)
- City
- Postal Code
- Sender Phone
- Sender Email
Step 3 — Select a parcel shop
In the Ship To section, select the destination parcel shop. There are two ways to do this.
Option A — Search by parcel shop name or location
- Select the destination Country
- Select a Carrier
- In the Parcel Shop field, type a name or location to search for available parcel shops
- Select your preferred parcel shop from the results
Option B — Find nearest parcel shop
- Click Find Nearest Parcel Shop in the top right of the Ship To section
- Select the destination Country
- Select a Carrier (optional)
- Enter the recipient's Address, City, and Postal Code
- Available parcel shops will appear in the Order summary panel on the right, sorted by distance
- Click your preferred parcel shop to select it
To return to searching by name or location, click Show All Parcel Shops.
Step 4 — Enter recipient details
Fill in the recipient's details below the parcel shop selection.
Required fields:
- Name and Surname
- Recipient Phone
- Recipient Email
- Company (if applicable)
To save this address for future use, check Save Recipient Address at the bottom of the section.
Step 5 — Enter package dimensions and weight (international shipments only)
If you are shipping internationally, enter the package dimensions and weight in the Packages section.
- Length (cm)
- Width (cm)
- Height (cm)
- Weight (kg)
Enter dimensions and weight as accurately as possible. If the values you enter do not match the carrier's measurements, an additional charge may apply. For more information, see What is a Reconciliation Invoice?
To add another package with different dimensions, click Add Additional Package. To duplicate an existing package, click the copy icon next to the package.
Step 6 — Add item details (international shipments only)
If you are shipping internationally, click Add Customs Item in the Packages section to open the Items window and enter details about the contents of your package.
Fill in the following fields for each item:
- Title / Description
- Quantity
- Price (commercial value per item) — in EUR
- Weight (per item) — in kg
- Country of Origin
- HS Code — use the Find HS Code link if you are unsure of the code
- SKU (optional)
To save this item for future use, check Save in Items Library before saving.
Click Save to add the item to the shipment.
Step 7 — Select additions (optional)
In the Additions section, you can add the following options to your shipment:
- Order Reference
- ID Check
- Fragile
Not all additions are available for every carrier. Available options are indicated by the carrier logos shown next to each addition.
Step 8 — Generate the label
- Review the selected parcel shop and shipment details in the Order summary panel on the right
- Click Create Label to generate the shipping label
- A summary of your shipment will open automatically
- From the summary, download the label and schedule a free courier pickup
If you are creating multiple shipments, close the summary and return to download labels and schedule pickup after all shipments are complete.
