How to save your frequently used package parameters or products in the Swotzy library

To speed up your shipment creation process, Swotzy allows you to save the following information in your platform Library:

• Sender addresses
• Recipient addresses
• Frequently used package dimensions
• Product details required for shipment customs

In this article, we’ll explain how to save your frequently used package parameters or product information to your Swotzy Library.

You can add both package dimensions and product information to your Swotzy Library in two ways:

1. Through Library → Packages or Library → Items

2. While creating a new shipment

1. Saving Package Parameters and Product Information in the Library Section

After logging into your Swotzy account, you’ll see Library in the left sidebar.
Click it to open a dropdown where you’ll find:

• Items (Products)
• Packaging (Package dimensions)

Click on the relevant section to add either a frequently used package or a frequently shipped product.

1.1. Add Frequently Used Packaging

• Click the yellow + New Packaging button to open a new window.
• Enter the package name.
• Enter the package dimensions (in cm).
• Optionally, add the package weight (not required).
• Alternatively, you can upload packages in bulk by clicking the upload icon on the same yellow button.

1.2. Add Frequently Shipped Products

• Click the yellow + New Item button.
• Enter the product name.
• Enter the product sale price / commercial value.
• Enter the item weight (without packaging).
• Add the country of origin.
• Add the correct HS code.

Alternatively, you can upload products in bulk using the upload option on the same button.

2. Saving Package Parameters and Products While Creating a Shipment

2.1. Save Package Dimensions While Creating a New Shipment

When creating a new shipment, you can input package details and save them instantly to your Library:

• Enter your package dimensions.
• In the same section (Packages), find the small grey icon in the top-right corner.
• Click it to open a new window, then enter a package name.
• Click the yellow Save button to store it in your Library.

Next time, you’ll be able to select it directly from your Packaging Library.

2.2. Save Products While Creating a New Shipment

If you're adding product details during shipment creation, you can save them to your Items Library:

• Click the yellow Add Customs Items button.
• When a new window opens, set Customs Items → Yes.
• Enter the product name, commercial value, country of origin, and HS code.
• In the bottom-left corner, tick the box Save in Items Library.
• Click Save to store the product in your Library.

Next time you create a shipment, you’ll be able to choose this product directly from your Items Library.
