This article explains how to open and configure WooCommerce integration settings in the Swotzy platform.
Each setting can be configured separately based on how you want imported WooCommerce orders to behave in Swotzy.
Result After Setup
Once your settings are configured:
- Imported WooCommerce orders follow your selected import rules
- Product information for customs can be added automatically
- Domestic shipments can be excluded from import
- Shipment weight can be calculated automatically from item weights
- Default package size and weight can be applied
- Shipping methods can trigger automatic actions
Before You Start
Make sure that:
- Your WooCommerce store is already integrated with Swotzy
- You have access to your Swotzy account
- You know which shipping methods are used in your store checkout
Step 1 — Open the WooCommerce Integration Settings
- Go to app.swotzy.com
- Log in to your Swotzy account
- In the left menu, click Integrations
- Find your integrated WooCommerce store
- Click Manage
This opens the integration settings view for your WooCommerce store.
Product Information for International Shipments
Use this setting to add default item information for customs declarations.
This information is automatically added to imported shipments.
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Enter the Default item HS code
- Select the Default item country of origin
- Enter the Default item weight
- Save the changes
All imported purchases will then include this product information automatically.
If a shipment contains a different product, you can manually edit the product information before creating the label.
Disable Domestic Shipment Import
Use this setting if you do not want local shipments to be imported into Swotzy.
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Find the option Disable domestic shipment import
- Enable this setting
- Save the changes
Once enabled, domestic shipments will no longer be imported into Swotzy.
Calculate Package Weight from Shipment Items
Use this setting to automatically calculate the total shipment weight based on the weight of each product in the imported order.
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Find the option Calculate package weight from shipment items
- Enable this setting
- Save the changes
When this setting is enabled, Swotzy calculates shipment weight from the imported item weights.
Note: Packaging weight is not included in this calculation. Because of this, the final invoiced weight may differ from the calculated weight shown in Swotzy.
Default Packaging Parameters
Use this setting if most of your shipments use the same package size or default weight.
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Find the default packaging section
- Enter your standard package dimensions and weight
- Save the changes
These values will be applied to imported shipments by default.
If a shipment requires different dimensions or weight, you can still manually edit the shipment information.
Shipment Method Settings
Use shipment method settings to define automatic actions based on the delivery method selected in your store checkout.
You can use these settings to:
- Select the nearest parcel locker
- Skip import for in-store pickup orders
Nearest Parcel Locker Selection
Use this setting when your customers select a delivery method that should send the shipment to the nearest parcel locker based on their address.
For example, your checkout may include delivery methods such as:
- Omniva parcel locker (nearest to address)
- Venipak parcel locker (nearest to address)
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Go to the shipment methods settings
- Click + New Action
- Copy the exact shipping method name from your website checkout
- Paste it into the Method name field
- In Matching type, select Exact
- In Action type, select Find Closest parcelshop
- Select the courier whose parcel lockers should be used
- Click Add
After this is saved, Swotzy will automatically select the nearest available parcel locker for that shipping method.
Skip Import for In-Store Pickup Orders
Use this setting if your store offers in-store pickup and you do not want these orders to be imported into Swotzy.
How to configure this setting
- Open your WooCommerce integration settings
- Go to the shipment methods settings
- Click + New Action
- Enter a keyword used in your in-store pickup delivery methods
- In Matching Type, select Contains
- In Action Type, select Skip Import
- Click Add
After this is saved, shipment methods containing that keyword will no longer be imported into Swotzy.
For example, if your in-store pickup options contain the word “store,” orders using those methods will be skipped.
